Alpha Psi Omega Dramatic Honors Society is putting together a Dramatic Arts Awards Night!!!

"What's this all about, huh?"
    A large part of Alpha Psi Omega's mission is to recognize and reward achievement and dedication in the Dramatic Arts, be it Theater (plays, musicals, operas) or other things such as sketch comedy, improvisation, etc.
Since there isn't already a large awards night for all dramatic arts groups on campus, A Psi O wants to make it happen. We're currently in the planning stages, coming up with the awards, finding presenters, getting live performances together, securing the venue, etc.

"Who's eligible to be nominated for and vote for these awards?"
    Anyone who is a member of the Theater Dept., the UM Theater Guild, any group within SVP, Don't Make a Scene, the Vagina Monologues, or any other such group in the Dramatic Arts is eligible both to be nominated for the awards and to vote for the winners.
    There will be some awards geared toward a specific group, such as The Improviser award, but on the whole, anyone from any of those groups could be nominated for the awards.

"What if I want to be a presenter?"
    If you'd like to be a presenter for one of the awards, just email alphapsiomega.umass@gmail.com and let us know! put Dramatic Arts Awards as your subject line and we'll get to it nearly immediately.
